What is the difference between selling on Amazon/Flipkart and Instamojo?

Online selling marketplaces like Amazon and Flipkart do not allow you to sell independently. You have less brand recall, lower control on shipping, and realising your sales. Payout cycles are longer (avg. 15 days) which can impact your working capital.

With Instamojo, you can customise and build your brand and customer base. You can sell directly to your customer without having to worry about marketplace regulations and build your own identity online.

Does Instamojo support product shipping
and logistics?

Yes, all our online store users can ship products using our direct shipping integrations with Shipway, Shiprocket, Vamaship, Pickrr and more. Our shipping service in collaboration allows you to ship your products across 26,000 pin codes in India, with doorstep pickup and delivery.

All you need to do is schedule pickup, print shipping labels, paste shipping labels on your package and hand it over to the delivery partner.

What is transactional pricing for Instamojo online store?

Once customers purchase a product/service from your store and pay for it, you are charged a transaction fee for every payment. Transaction fees are different on each Instamojo online store plan. The Instamojo Growth annual plan subscription has a lower transaction fee of 2%+₹3+GST, while the other plans have a transaction fee of 5%+₹3+GST. The Growth Annual plan has more eCommerce features and benefits and offers the best value for your business.

For all plans, we have a convenience fee option available where you can choose to pass on the Instamojo fee to the customers and get exactly what you charge in your bank account.

How can I upgrade my online store plan?

Yes, of course. We offer all businesses complete flexibility with store plans. If you want to upgrade your current store plan, click on ‘Subscription Plans’ from the drop-down menu on the top right corner on your Instamojo dashboard, and choose the plan you wish to upgrade to.

You can switch to the free/starter plan within 14 days of choosing a premium store plan. You will be issued a full refund if you downgrade your store plan within 14 days. Email your plan cancellation request to storesales@instamojo.com. You cannot request a refund on your current subscription after the 14th day, but our team can help you switch back to a free/starter plan if you still wish to make a change.
