We will be exploring flourishing right from the foundation in our extensive workshop

Here’s the workshop structure-
• Understanding line/stroke relationships
• Flourishing: Do’s and don’ts
• Lower case flourishing
• Uppercase flourishing
• Understanding the various elements and best ways to flourish a word
• Composition: Flourishing quotes/letters in a way its most appealing

Workbook:
It took me over two months to come up with the workbook, its designed in such a way that it’ll help all beginners slowly grow and develop their own flourishing style, here’s the workbook structure:
• All the letters are shown in 12 different ways in the workbook
6 ways for lower case
6 ways for upper case
• Along with that, definitely lots of drills to help you work on and develop the arm movement
• Sample words to help you with composing words
• Sample layout and how to go about composing a quote/letter

Each participant gets the workbook pdf along with the class recording that can be accessed for as long as 21 days after the workshop

Assignments:
The assignments can be submitted and discussed in the following two ways:
1- The image can be emailed to <reachletterati@gmail.com> and the participant can join in the assignment discussion slot in between 4:30-5pm and talk to me while I discuss the areas for improvement in their submission
2- If joining 30 minutes early is not suitable, the corrected and reviewed assignment will he emailed back to you
3- There will also be a post workshop assignment that we will talk about in the workshop itself 🌸

Flourishes are basically enhancements that we add to our letters, they ard not just random strokes planted here and there, a lot goes behind designing a flourish, and then further placing it in an artwork in a way that its relationship with other strokes and letters is such that it created the most musical effect.
I’ve spent years understanding flourishing, and now is the time I share all that I have gained in this time in our Flourishing and Composition masterclass🌸
